The Plays And Musicals website uses a program called
Javascript to provide navigation facilities in the form
of an active menu.Since the introduction on their computers
of Windows XP, Service Pack 2, many customers have advised
us that 'there is no menu for them to use'
Microsoft have decided that Javascript (in the wrong
hands) can harm your computer and, despite the fact
that there are probably hundreds of millions of safe
uses of this technology, have by default switched it
off in the Internet Explorer options. They have however
provided the 'Information Bar' which will allow you
to use our site as intended. This says ...
"'To protect your
security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file
from showing active contect that could access your computer".
In order to see our very safe, non-intrusive Menu Bar,
please click the Microsoft Information Bar and then
click "Allow Blocked Content",
after which a confirmation message is displayed ...
"Allowing active
content such as scripts and ActiveX controls can be
useful, but active content might also harm your computer.
Are you sure you want to let this file run active content?"
Press 'Yes', which will
then remove the Information Bar, and display our Menu.
We apologise for this additional activity needed in
order to view our website properly.
